Hi everyone,
I am here in MD doing the Chesapeake Bay Swim (4.4 miles -- yes I know, hardly worth getting wet --only kidding). Weather tomorrow for the swim will be pretty bad -- very choppy. These are the days we need to be out there training -- there are no mill ponds in the Channel. If conditions for the swim are as they say it will be a rough go for many. The water temp is 73F and most of the swimmers will be in wetsuits.
Begin to pray to the Channel Gods.

I'm already checking for race results.....Hope you had an awesome swim and more importantly had a blast doing it!!
ReplyDeleteI am back in CT and looking forward to focusing my training toward our relay. They pulled over 100 swimmers from the race on Sunday...the tides and headwinds cause most times to be slower by about 15 minutes. Sadly, most of the swimmers were pulled between the 3 and 4 mile marks, they were almost done.
ReplyDeleteHope everyone is gearing up for longer swims and knocking out the 2hr qualifier.
Hope to see you on the blogger.
